Job Description
We are looking for experienced Receiving Supervisors in Kenosha
Receiving Supervisor Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Shift: 1:30am-10am(until close)
First week training shift: 5am-1:30pm
Days Off: Wednesday and Sunday
Pay Rate: $24.30
Scope
The Warehouse Receiving Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Receiving Manager and supports the Manager in the Team Member review, hiring, and corrective action process, either through recommendations to the Manager or as a participating witness to the process alongside the Receiving Manager. They support other work activities in the Warehouse area as needed independently according to the communicated process for additional sub-teams in the absence of the Receiving and Department Manager reporting and communicating on sub-team performance, workflow issues, and any additional areas needing attention.
Duties include:
- Develop a deep understanding of all load arrival, offloading requirements, receiving, receiving clerical, and pallet transfer functions within the Warehouse Management and My Q Enterprise System, ensuring the efficient flow and handling of all perishable goods and purchase orders supervising these processes to completion.
- Ensuring Team Members follow established processes to maintain off loading, receiving, and pallet transfer functions with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and production guidelines and standards
- Work with Receiving Manager to identify areas for operational improvements and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality of output.
- Identify initial training or re-training opportunities through Team Member production and accuracy and ensure Receiving Lead has successfully scheduled and completed the training with the Team Member along with a member of the training staff.
- Support the Receiving Manager in completion and communication of all daily, weekly, monthly KPI, safety, and food safety walk throughs and shift reports to ensure accuracy and immediate follow through on any inventory, safety, and food safety issues
- Conduct, prepare, and communicate daily pre-shift meetings and templates in the absence of the Receiving Manager
- Ensure all Team Members meet daily/weekly/monthly production KPI’s and warehouse objectives for all receiving functions to include initial quality check, off load, receiving, and pallet transfer functions and that all receivers are working independently per load arrival
- Utilize WMS, Produce Pro, and My Q Enterprise platform to monitor and ensure the following:
- Ensure all lift operators have verified pallet contents accurately prior to pallet transfer within Produce Pro
- Ensure all reported receiving errors are adjusted and accurately corrected within Produce Pro immediately upon identification/communication of issue for correct AP payment
- Communicate and ensure all dump and contamination issues have been communicated addressed and completed according to the process prior to the end of shift
- Troubleshoot and communicate any discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System
- Identify all loads carrying a Direct has been communicated to the clerical team for accuracy in processing
- Communicate all workflow demand and issues with the receiving team, receiving clerical team, lighthouse transportation, and QC teams in terms of final invoicing
- Ensure all backhaul PO’s have been verified accurately when completed by Shipping sub-team
- Follow the “opening building” protocols and process in the absence of the Receiving manager
- Coordinate break/lunch schedules with warehouse Team Members to efficiently work with volume and demand
- Participates regularly and contributes to Team meetings regarding safety, food safety, and receiving operations.
- Comply with all Quality, HAACP, GMP and Food Safety Standards
- Escalate Safety, Quality, and Productivity issues immediately to Receiving and Department managers for resolution
- Maintains and is responsible for the maintenance and safe return of all equipment.
- Communicate and assign coolers for cleaning and restack product as directed in the absence of sub-team Leadership
- Report all broken or damaged equipment on the CMMS system
- Perform other duties as assigned by Company and Team Leadership
