Job Description

We are looking for 2nd shift Flow master machine operators in the Burridge area. Monday-Saturday.
Flow Master Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Start, stop, and adjust machinery (manual, mechanical, or computer-controlled) to meet production needs.

- Monitoring & Control: Oversee gauges, instruments, and the overall flow of operations to ensure processes are efficient and within normal parameters.

- Quality Assurance: Perform regular checks, visual inspections, and measurements to ensure products meet specifications, addressing discrepancies immediately.

- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance, identify and fix minor issues (like tightening bolts), and prepare equipment for larger servicing.

- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow emergency procedures.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
- Inventory Management: Control raw materials and finished goods.

- Flow Master Operator Requirements:

- Experience: At least 1 year operating/setting up FlowMaster or similar high-speed inserters is common.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand machine components, perform adjustments, and troubleshoot jams/misfires.
- Technical Skills: Setup, programming, job changeovers, feeder setup, and understanding PLC screens.
- Attention to Detail: Crucial for accuracy in matching, piece integrity, and postal compliance.
- Basic Skills: Reading work orders, basic math, communication (verbal/written).
- Software/Systems: Familiarity with camera/barcode matching systems is often required.
