Shipping & Receiving Associate – Grayslake, IL
 
We are seeking motivated candidates for a Shipping and Receiving Department.
 
Position Details:
- Location: Grayslake, IL
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Pay: $18 – $20/hr
- Overtime: Available as needed
 
Shipping Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers.
- Maintain records of shipped items and shipping costs.
- Ensure all outgoing products meet quality standards.
- Load shipments safely onto trucks or other transport vehicles.
Receiving Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify received items against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Properly store and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Record and track incoming inventory using computer systems.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
General/Departmental Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (if trained).
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and compliance regulations.
 
Qualifications:
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
 
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced production and warehouse environment
- Standing, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Moderate lifting.
