Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator Location: Lake Zurich Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a warehouse facility in the Lake Zurich, IL area. Candidates must be English speaking and have prior sit-down forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Equipment Used
- Big Joe LVE 4,000 lb. four-wheel electric forklift
Requirements
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 40°F)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift and move materials as needed
