Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Ames, IA. In this role, you will safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials throughout our facility. A great candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and prioritizes safety in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing delivery trucks.
- Move and stack heavy pallets, materials, and finished goods to their proper storage locations.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and log incoming shipments.
- Perform daily safety checks on the forklift and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a forklift (stand-up or sit-down lift truck).
- Ability to pass a forklift safety certification test.
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
