Job Details

We are looking for 1st shift Standup Forklift Drivers in the Melrose Park area. Monday-Friday with occasionally Saturdays.
Standup Forklift Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely move materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or moving items from the loading docks to storage area.
- Picking, staging, and organizing products in correct storage and performing cycle counts.
- Performing daily checks on the forklift, such as ensuring the battery is charged, and performing basic lubrication.
- Following all safety procedures and warehouse regulations, and ensuring loads are secure before transport.
- Using RF scanners to track inventory.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors and managers to ensure efficient order fulfillment and support overall operation.
Monday-Friday (occasionally Saturdays)
6:00am to 2:30pm with some overtime.
Standup Forklift Driver Requirements:
- Experience with Stand up Forklift for more than 2 years.
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items. Perform frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to read labels, check inventory for accuracy and maintain precise records.
- Good verbal and written communication to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and inventory staff.
- Adaptability to work overtime, weekends, different shifts, and environmental conditions, such as cold storage.
